I came across John Upperman's blog. He's in the Army National Guard and just got sent to Iraq for a year. He's going to post about what he sees and does and about the good things happening there.

This is John Upperman's son. I just wanted to thank you for your support of my father during this time. I think you would be glad to know that he is a devout Christian and one of the most optimistic people considering the situation he is in. Keep him in your prayers.
